Welding Engineer

One of our prestigious clients in Oman is looking for experienced Welding Engineers to join their team immediately.

SALARY: OMR 400 – 700 (depending on experience)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise and control all welding activities at project sites.

Ensure welding procedures comply with international standards and project specifications.

Review and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).

Monitor weld quality, inspections, and testing activities.

Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure compliance with oil & gas project requirements.

Provide technical guidance to welding supervisors and welders.

Prepare welding-related reports and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

International Welding Engineer (IWE) Certificate – Mandatory.

5–7 years of proven experience in oil & gas / OQ projects.

Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ISO, etc.).

Experience in site supervision and quality control.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.
