Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven General Manager, Sales to lead and drive sales performance across FMCG operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Food and Beverage manufacturing sector, with a strong track record of building high-performing sales teams, expanding market presence, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue, volume, and market share targets
Lead, mentor, and manage regional and national sales teams to drive high performance
Identify new market opportunities, distribution channels, and strategic partnerships
Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners
Collaborate with marketing, production, and supply chain teams to align sales forecasts with operational capacity
Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and prepare regular reports for executive management
Manage sales budgets, pricing strategies, and trade promotions to ensure profitability
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage)
Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in sales leadership within the FMCG Sector
Proven experience managing large sales teams and distributor networks
Strong strategic, analytical, and negotiation skills
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management abilities
Willingness to be based in Ogun State
