Shift Detail: 36-hour Night shift; Every other weekend, every other holiday.

Job Summary: Demonstrate clinical competence using the nursing process to assess, identify patient needs, establish a plan of care, implement, and evaluate the care provided.

Qualifications:

Graduate of a nursing school; BSN preferred

One year of RN experience

Current unrestricted State of CT Registered Nurse license

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification; Oncology Nurse (ONC) certification preferred

Ability to acquire and maintain department-specific certifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Basic knowledge of nursing principles and practices is required along with the ability to communicate effectively and handle multiple priorities. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential when interacting with patients and healthcare teams. Must be able to work in a stressful environment while maintaining confidentiality and displaying a strong commitment to customer service.
