SYSTEMTEC is seeking Full Stack Software Engineer REMOTE opportunity in Columbia, SC. This Full Stack Software Engineer is responsible for development experience for Java/Java EE ecosystems and JavaScript frameworks. Must have hands-on experience with Agile & Medicare, AWS Cloud or Azure and lift-and-shift or re-platforming projects. AWS Services - EC2, Lambda, RDS, Aurora, S3, VPC, IAM, EKS/ECS, Dynamo DB, API Gateway, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Secrets Manager.
Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility, remediation and WCAG standards.
REMOTE - Onsite is Highly Preferred in Columbia, SC, but open to Remote

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree
Required Work Experience: 8 years of technical experience with systems analysis, design, and/or programming
Agile & Medicare experience Required Technologies:
AWS Services - EC2, Lambda, RDS, Aurora, S3, VPC, IAM, EKS/ECS, Dynamo DB, API Gateway, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Secrets Manager
Setting up log aggregation, tracking, and monitoring using Splunk, CloudWatch, and X-Ray
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Tools - Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation, required for automating infrastructure provisioning and ensuring consistency across environments. Security & Compliance Frameworks (NIST 800-53, FedRAMP)
CI/CD & DevSecOps Tools - Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Selenium, SonarQube, Synk, AWS CodePipeline or Azure DevOps, Proficiency in setting up and managing continuous integration and deployment pipelines is critical for modern cloud development workflows.
Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility, remediation and WCAG standards Nice to Have:
Serverless Architectures, Security Best Practices in cloud-native Development • Cloud certifications. • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS/Faregate or Kubernetes) • Understanding secure coding practices, identity, and access management (IAM), and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FedRAMP) is a strong asset in regulated environments
Responsibilities of the Full Stack Software Engineer:
Leading the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications while ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business goals
Reviewing code merges and CI/CD pipeline activity using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps, ensuring that builds and deployments are running smoothly
Builds and integrates cloud-based solutions using AWS, leveraging services like compute, storage, and serverless functions.
