Mainframe Architect

Mainframe Technical Architect with extensive experience in COBOL, CICS, VSAM and DB2.

The candidate should be able to work with Business SMEs, Data Architects, and Solution Architects to create roadmap for the mainframe application and future designs.

Good Exposure in handling customer. Have good understanding of requirements and provide estimates for design and development of required functionality.

Knowledge of system development life cycle in both Agile and waterfall model.

Experience working with multi-culture, distributed offshore and onshore development teams in dynamic and complex environment.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, Furnishing technical expertise and answering client inquiries with regard to both functional and application aspect.

Performing brief Pilots and Proofs of Concept. Review code and design from other team members and provide constructive feedback.

Interface with delivery partners as required for a technical solutions and estimates. Participate in all governance reviews. Stake holder management
