Location: Rogers, MN 55374

Wage Range:

Entry-Level (0-2 years): $22 - $24/hr

Mid-Level (3-5 years): $24 - $25/hr

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Shear Operator to join our manufacturing team in Rogers, MN. The Shear Operator will be responsible for accurately cutting sheet metal using mechanical power shears, ensuring all pieces meet quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate mechanical shears to cut metal sheets with precision.

Read and interpret work orders and material specifications.

Adjust back gauges to achieve exact cut dimensions.

Inspect finished pieces to confirm quality compliance.

Safely handle and transport metal sheets to avoid damage.

Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures within the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience as a Shear Operator or with metal-cutting machinery preferred but not required.

Ability to read and use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.

Basic math skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to lift and move metal sheets weighing up to 75 lbs.

Self-motivated with strong time management and ability to work independently.

Forklift proficiency required.Company Description
