Position Summary

We are seeking Solar Installers / Electrical Apprentices to support our Journeyman Electricians with residential and commercial solar installations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on work, takes pride in quality, and is eager to build their career in solar and electrical trades.

Key Responsibilities

Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar PV systems

Assemble and mount solar panels, racking, and related hardware on rooftops or ground mounts

Pull wire, install conduit, and support electrical tie ins

Perform basic construction tasks such as drilling, mounting, and equipment setup

Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with electrical codes and site procedures

Maintain a clean worksite and properly handle tools and equipment

Follow direction, ask questions when needed, and work as part of a high performing crew

Qualifications

Registered Electrical Apprentice (1st–4th year)

Ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor conditions

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Valid driver’s licence; clean driving record preferred

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work for extended periods

CSTS, First Aid, Fall Protection, and other safety certificates are considered assets (training can be provided)
