Position Summary:

Pinos Transport is seeking a skilled and reliable Intermodal Truck Driver with a minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience to join our growing logistics team. This role is ideal for drivers who are experienced in intermodal container operations and are committed to safety, efficiency, and top-tier customer service. You will be home with your family every day.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport intermodal containers to and from rail yards, ports, and customer locations.

Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs and trip reports.

Ensure cargo is properly secured and handled according to safety protocols.

Communicate effectively with dispatch and terminal personnel.

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Navigate traffic routes and meet delivery deadlines.

Manage paperwork related to freight and deliveries, including bills of lading and delivery confirmations.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of CDL-A driving experience (intermodal experience preferred).

Clean MVR and CSA score.

Valid TWIC card (required for port access).

Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.

Ability to operate chassis and container locking systems.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Professional demeanor and excellent customer service attitude.

Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with local port and rail operations (e.g., [insert relevant port/rail terminal names]).

Experience using ELD systems and GPS fleet management tools.

Previous work with dry van and/or refrigerated containers is a plus.
