Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote positive behavioral changes.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify behavioral needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Collect and analyze data to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Provide direct patient care, ensuring a supportive environment for individuals with disabilities.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and interventions.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field of behavioral health.
Requirements
Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism.
Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis for tracking patient progress.
Familiarity with special education practices and working within educational settings is preferred.
Understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, intake processes, and patient assessment protocols.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
