Litigation Paralegal (Trial & Defense)

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Compensation: $90,000-$115,000

Hybrid: 1–2 days in office per week

Hours: 35-hour work week

A prestigious, globally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support its Trial & Defense team in Los Angeles. This role is best suited for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages a strong caseload, and has substantial trial experience. You will work with high exposure matters involving public and private entities across employment disputes, personal injury, commercial litigation, and class actions.

Key Responsibilities

Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery, deposition notices, briefs, and related litigation documents

Coordinate filing/service and maintain court deadlines across multiple jurisdictions (state & federal)

Manage and organize large-scale case files, document review, production, and privilege logs

Assist with depositions, exhibit preparation, trial organization, and post-trial support

Maintain detailed case tracking spreadsheets and review electronic filing notifications

Support attorneys through all litigation phases (pre-trial, trial, post-trial)

Qualifications

5+ years of litigation paralegal experience (required)

Heavy trial experience (required)

Proven ability to manage a large volume of cases independently

Strong written/oral communication skills with high attention to detail

Familiarity with court websites and e-filing procedures

Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, and handle sensitive information

Experience handling litigation matters from inception through trial

iManage a plus

Intellectual curiosity and adaptability to new software and processes
