Volt is immediately hiring for Assembly Worker in Lancaster, NY.
As an Assembly Worker you will:
Assemble all types of devices, working from blueprints, sketches and other established procedures and data. Alter parts to suit assemblies as required. Inspect, label, pack and identify assemblies as required
Sets-up and operates equipment, including tooling and controls
Makes necessary gauge adjustments and settings
Select proper raw stocks and checks against blueprint specifications
Segregates, sorts, and disposes of scrap and writes scrap tickets
Assist with hanging and removing parts on the powder coat line
This is a Full-Time opportunity.
The ideal Assembly Worker will have:
High School Diploma or GED
Warehouse, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
Strong work ethic and good attendance
Ability to carry out physical functions of the job: stoop, kneel, crouch, walk, stand, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds
Pay Rate: $24-$27 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
