Responsibilities

Provide small group or individualized instruction and/or academic support according to the general and specific goals outlined in students' individualized service plans to prevent substantial regression. The tutoring will be provided to students who qualify for special education but attend a private school in Andover. Tutoring will preferably take place at the private school the student attends.

Qualifications

Massachusetts Teaching Certification: Teacher of Moderate Special Needs

Experience instructing students with learning disabilities particularly in the areas of reading, math and/or written language.

Strong curriculum/academic background.

Reading Certifications in Orton Gillingham, Wilson, Lips, or other researched based reading programs are preferred.
