Under general supervision, the Driver position is responsible for greeting all residents, team members, and visitors in a warm, confident, and knowledgeable manner.

The Driver position is responsible for ensuring the safe travel of the residents, visitors. This Driver position provides transportation services for residents from all areas of campus as needed and scheduled, demonstrating outstanding customer service. This Driver also assists residents from skilled nursing to medical appointments and will assist with transfers from wheelchairs or walkers as needed, therefore a CNA certification is also required. The Driver transports residents in cars, trams, busses and/or vans to appointments, local shopping, and/or activities; provides assistance to the residents; and maintains and may clean the vehicle(s).

Full Time Benefitted

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Some weekends needed with On-Call Rotations.

$22.50 to $26 per hour

As a representative and team member of the company, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Class C California driver's license - Must have clearance with California Department of Motor Vehicles with no serious violations.

Experience/Training – One to three years of driving experience with a clean DMV record. Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.

Current California CNA certification
