Department: Laboratory Support Services
Hours: Part-Time/32 hours (This is a benefits eligible position)
Shift: 2nd Shift, Evenings - Shift Differentials Apply!
Shift Details: Monday through Friday 3:30pm-10:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays
Position Summary:
The Specimen Processor Technical Assistant receives specimens from all procurement areas and orders laboratory tests based on physician orders. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: processing specimens for specific departments/locations in the laboratory and preparing specimens to be sent out to Reference Laboratories.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biology
Previous laboratory experience
