Mechanical Project Manager

Location: Newark, DE

Salary: $95k+ (doe)

Schedule:Full-time On-site

We are seeking a PM to oversee mechanical engineering and design projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget objectives are met- in Newark, DE. Work spans HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and industrial systems. Lead project teams and coordinate with clients, architects, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

Perform engineering calculations and field investigations

Lead design and drafting efforts; review quality of documents

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes

Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation

Coach staff, develop project plans, and oversee execution

Participate in marketing, proposals, and client presentations

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering (ABET-accredited)

12+ years’ experience designing mechanical/plumbing systems

Professional Engineer (PE) license

Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office

Preferred Experience

Commissioning or project management certifications (CxA, PMP, CAPM)

Experience with multiple project delivery methods

Industrial system design experience

Working Conditions

Office-based 95%, occasional field visits
