Schedule: Full-time On-site

We are seeking a Hydraulic Modeler in Hunt Valley, MD. In this role you will lead hydraulic modeling projects for municipal water and wastewater systems, Focus on sanitary sewer collection and potable water distribution modeling, Provide design, analysis, and mentoring to junior staff while supporting project management objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, update, and calibrate hydraulic models

Support project management with scope, hours, and schedules

Assess collection/distribution system performance and recommend solutions

Prepare calculations, technical reports, and contract documents

Coach and mentor design staff

Collaborate with clients, sub-consultants, and internal teams

Qualifications & Requirements

8–10+ years hydraulic modeling in municipal water/wastewater systems

Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering (ABET-accredited)

Proficiency with InfoWorks, WaterGEMS, XPSWMM, PCSWMM, KY Pipe, or EPA-SWMM

Microsoft Office proficiency and strong communication skills

Preferred Experience

PE license

Experience with Mid-Atlantic municipal clients

Leadership or team mentoring experience

Working Conditions

Office-based 95% with occasional field work
