Litigation Associate – Business Litigation

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid Schedule)

Experience Level: 3–6 Years

Our client, a nationally recognized AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join its Houston office. This opportunity is ideal for a mid-level associate with a strong background in business litigation who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Group, you’ll work alongside experienced partners and associates on complex commercial disputes, contract matters, and high-stakes litigation. You’ll take on substantive responsibilities early, with opportunities to draft briefs, prepare pleadings, conduct discovery, manage client communications, and appear in court.

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in a variety of business and commercial litigation matters.

Draft motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.

Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy.

Participate in depositions, hearings, and client meetings.

Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and clients to deliver high-quality legal solutions.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.

3–6 years of litigation experience at a reputable law firm.

Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Experience handling commercial and contract disputes preferred.

Must be admitted to the Texas Bar and in good standing.

A writing sample is required with application.

Self-motivated, personable, and a team-oriented professional.
