Part-Time Telemarketing / Lead Generation Representative

John Fabry State Farm is a respected, community-based independent insurance agency proudly serving the Delaware and Philadelphia counties families and businesses for 8 years. We're looking for a friendly, persistent, and results-driven part-time team member to help us generate high-quality leads for our personal lines sales team.
Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time Telemarketer/Lead Generator to make outbound calls to warm and targeted leads, qualify prospects, and set qualified appointments for our licensed insurance producers. This is a flexible, performance-oriented role with strong earning potential through hourly pay plus generous bonuses for quality appointments set and leads that convert.
Ideal schedule: Monday - Friday 12/1pm to 5/6pm can vary typically 4 hours shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to provided lead lists (warm referrals, recent quote requests, purchased lists, past clients, etc.)
Follow scripts and objection-handling techniques while maintaining a warm, professional, and conversational tone
Qualify prospects by gathering basic insurance needs and interest level
Schedule appointments for licensed producers (phone, video, or in-person)
Accurately log all call activity, outcomes, and notes in our CRM/agency management system
Meet or exceed daily/weekly appointment-setting and contact goals
Assist with occasional follow-up calls/texts/emails to nurture leads
Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
Excellent phone presence clear, friendly, confident, and persuasive voice
Strong listening skills and ability to handle objections professionally
Comfortable working with scripts while still sounding natural
Basic computer skills (CRM, Google Workspace/Microsoft 365, dialer software)
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work independently while being coachable and receptive to feedbackPreferred (but not required):
Experience in insurance, financial services, or home services sales
Familiarity with agency management systems (AMS360, Applied Epic, QQCatalyst, etc.)
Experience using auto-dialers or power dialers
Current Property & Casualty license (not required for this role)
