The primary purpose of the job is to:

Under the direction of the Manager Corporate Events & Program Management. (The Program Specialist (PS) will assist and support the planning, organizing, coordination, and implementation of key events for client leaders, including conferences, events and program. Assist with all logistical details involved in the event, including venue, attendees, speakers, travel, food/amenities. Evaluate and provide recommendations on venue and vendor selection, based on knowledge of corporate image, executive preferences, guest lists and other critical factors necessary to ensure event success. The PS will track and monitor planned events, for the purpose of budget tracking, event success, preferred vendors, and other pertinent information. The PS will assist in promoting all programs at various meetings, conferences and events. The PS will assist with selection of promotional materials in support of upcoming programs and events. The PS will analyze program evaluations and report summary to supervisor, including recommendations for future events and programs. Include evaluations in the electronic event tracking system for ready reference Manages project process from start to finish ensuring that commitments to deadlines are met timely and communicated consistently and effectively. Perform other related duties as assigned.
