Controls Engineer

Summary:

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in designing and programming control systems for automated equipment using pneumatics, hydraulics, and other means of movement. You will also be required to take projects from concept to install.

Responsibilities:

Design and program equipment to customer build specifications

Safety circuit design and programming via safety PLC

Risk assessment implementing associated safety devices

UL 508 certified design

Specify components, document control systems for various types of automated equipment.

Electrical/Pneumatic design, machine PLC programming, machine debug and certification for customer run-off.

Travel to customer sites for installation and start-up of equipment (25% of time)

Tools to be Utilized:

PLC, HMI, Robot, AutoCAD, Motion Control, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics.
