Junior Computer Engineer - Position Description

We are headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA. We are seeking a Junior Computer Engineer to support our Navy customer in Port Hueneme, CA.

Security Clearance:

Applicants must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance. Position/Job Description:

General Tasking Description:

Assist in the quality inspection, evaluation and reporting of material received from vendors, ship modernization, and hardware production and assembly per the latest approved technical drawings and/or specifications document.

Provide information and system analysis of combat weapons systems and technical support in support classified/unclassified Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs) that are outside the cognizance of the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) for both tactical and non-tactical combat system.

Assist in conducting testing, risk analyses, design recommendations and coordinate with certifying organizations.

Assist in installation, monitoring, upgrading, maintaining and performing system administration for support systems, tactical and training. Experience Requirements:

3 years of providing computer design, software development or computer network support. Educational & Certification Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering or mathematics with a field of concentration in computer science. EOE/M/F/ Disability/Vet/
