Sr. DBA

Our client is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to manage and optimize mission-critical database environments that power enterprise operations. This is a remote role based out of Columbus, OH, offering flexibility while giving you the opportunity to work on complex database systems that support a growing organization. Responsibilities

Manage and maintain MS SQL Server instances, ensuring high availability and performance.

Perform database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.

Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.

Handle instance management and advanced query writing for complex data needs.

Ensure database security, backup, and recovery processes are in place and effective.

Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support business objectives.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.

4+ years of hands-on experience with MS SQL Server.

Strong expertise in instance management and query optimization.

Solid understanding of database security, backup, and recovery strategies.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
