Role Description

This is a remote, contract role for a WordPress Developer. The Developer will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, ensuring the creation of responsive, functional, and aesthetic WordPress websites. Daily tasks include designing, building, and maintaining websites, troubleshooting coding issues, and implementing technology integrations to enhance website performance and user experience.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Back-End Web Development, including experience with PHP, custom WordPress themes, and plugin creation

Proficiency in Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks related to WordPress

Experience in Responsive Web Design and Web Development, ensuring mobile-first and browser compatibility

Creative Web Design skills with the ability to align platforms with brand identity and enhance user experience

Understanding of website optimization, SEO best practices, and performance testing

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while adhering to project deadlines

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field preferred
