Junior Software Developer

Brooksource is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our Fortune 500 banking client in the Charlotte, NC area.

As a developer, you will be joining the client's Digital Banking team.

Day to day you will design, build.

and test in various application programs in accordance with a specified business need and in a way that achieves the development goals for assigned projects.

You will join a project team in an agile environment and communicate progress, technical issues, and their resolution frequently to your peers.

Logistics:Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 3 days onsite)Full timeFirst year salary ($65,000)Start Date: February 2026We are unable to provide sponsorship currently Daily you will: Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents to design and develop technical solutions that meet business needs.Collaborate with IT and Business partners to design, develop, and troubleshoot end to end technical solutions.Identify and manage dependencies on impacts of downstream applications and components to minimize adverse effects on other projects and / or programs.Understands how to optimize joint development efforts through appropriate project design, database use, code creation, and software architecture.Lead design sessions within the development teamDevelops design specifications in compliance with IT Architecture, resolves user issues and provide recommendations as appropriate.Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates that meet SDLC standards.

Top Skills Needed: Experience with JavaScript and JavaExperience with NodeJS or ReactJSExperience in Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologyExcellent team player with good organizational, communicational, analytical, and logical skills.
