Overview
Software Engineer - Salesforce. Seeking a software developer to perform full-lifecycle application development: designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a quick learner, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a complex environment. This role supports full stack development of applications with Salesforce Health Cloud. You will work closely with the IT Project Manager and other Application Developers to design, implement, and maintain high-quality systems. Design screens, write and test code/scripts on the Salesforce platform. Lead a consistent approach for evolving applications into next generation technologies such as serverless and microservices.
Base pay range: $145,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr
Location: Sterling, VA (Remote options not stated; refer to recruiter for specifics).
Responsibilities
Perform software development: design, code and debug applications in various software languages.
Perform moderately complex analysis, design and development of new solutions; maintain existing software baselines.
Support customers using the developed tool sets.
Collaborate with IT Project Manager and other developers to design and maintain high-quality systems.
Design screens, write and test code/scripts on the Salesforce platform.
Lead a consistent approach for evolving applications into next generation technologies such as serverless and microservices.
Qualifications
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Full stack developer
Ability to design and develop new solutions and maintain existing software baselines
Experience in modern web development; proficiency in JavaScript, Apex, and Visualforce
Ability to work self-directed as well as in teams
Experience working in an agile environment
Understanding of AWS DevOps and CI/CD lifecycle
Familiar with JIRA and GitHub
Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
Experience supporting the Intelligence Community
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer
Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, or equivalent
