Factory Manager

Position Summary

The Plant Manager oversees TimberQuest's fabrication operations at the factory, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are consistently met. This role reports directly to the Preconstruction Director and manages all plant labor.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily plant operations

Manage all deliveries and shipments

Order materials and supplies; maintain inventory and place replenishment orders

Ensure safety compliance and drive a "safety-first" culture

Train and develop plant personnel

Foster a positive and welcoming work environment

Oversee quality control for all products

Directly manage plant labor, including interviewing, hiring, and termination as needed

Track production and productivity

Implement and drive continuous improvement and lean processes

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong knowledge of plant operations

Experience in manufacturing or assembly environments

Effective communication skills in both English and Spanish

Excellent interpersonal skills

Proven ability to assess efficiencies and identify bottlenecks to improve productivity
