CDR General Services is seeking General Laborers to join our galvanizing operations team in Port Allen, LA. This position is ideal for dependable individuals who are comfortable working in an industrial environment and performing physical, hands-on tasks in support of daily production operations.

Job Details

Position: General Laborer – Galvanizing Shop

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Location: Port Allen, LA

Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday (overtime may be available based on workload)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general labor tasks in a galvanizing facility

• Load, unload, and move materials and finished products

• Prepare steel materials for galvanizing processes

• Perform cleaning, stacking, and organization of materials

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

• Support production and operations teams as needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, standing, bending, and repetitive tasks

• Ability to work in an industrial environment with exposure to heat, noise, and outdoor conditions

• Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE

• Spanish-speaking ability not required but preferred

• Prior industrial, warehouse, or general labor experience is helpful but not required

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
