Job Description
Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project team members to ensure efficient work flow and resource utilisation.
Ensure that all construction activities comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and maintain the project schedule, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
Assist in the preparation of project plans, including work schedules, resource allocation, and material procurement.
Communicate regularly with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
Monitor project expenses and resource usage to ensure adherence to the project budget.
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for construction activities.
Identify potential cost-saving measures and implement strategies to optimise resource utilisation.

The Successful Applicant
Prior experience in the day to day aspects of construction
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field is highly preferred
Experience in handling projects with a minimum value of $25 million
Capacity to stand, walk, and move around the construction site for extended periods
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and compliance
Prior experience in ground up, new construction, and renovations
