ComResource is looking for a Data & AI Architect.

We need someone to assist in designing and leading modern Data and AI architecture strategies that support enterprise-wide adoption and scalable, secure solution delivery.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain enterprise Data & AI architecture strategies and roadmaps

Publish and enforce reference architectures, standards, and design patterns

Optimize workflows with automation, AI orchestration, intelligent decisioning, and feedback loops

Establish and update standards for Data & AI technologies, including DevOps/MLOps, security, and observability

Architect and evolve core Data & AI platforms, evaluating emerging tools and technologies

Provide architectural leadership and guidance across business and technology teams

Lead and review architecture deliverables, capability assessments, and technical evaluations

Document design decisions and ensure architectural consistency

Identify Data & AI risks and develop patterns to mitigate them

Collaborate broadly across enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, governance, compliance, and engineering teams

Monitor emerging Data & AI threats and design resilient solutions

Essentials:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field

8+ years of IT design/implementation experience across AI/ML engineering, data platforms, cloud architecture, and modern data technologies

Experience designing GenAI solutions and working with MLOps, LLMs, AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Snowflake Cortex, OpenAI, and Big Data tools

Expertise with enterprise data platform architectures (data lakes, warehouses, marts)

Strong understanding of DevOps/Data Engineering practices (CI/CD, automation, infrastructure-as-code)

Proven AWS cloud experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Snowflake)

Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills

Trusted leadership with ability to influence across business and IT

Ability to foster transparency, shared purpose, and clear accountability

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desired:

Insurance industry experience

Experience mentoring or developing junior team members
