Your day starts by reviewing plans and determining materials and layout. You’ll lay brick and block to construct or restore walls, chimneys, and related structures, mixing mortar to the proper consistency and ensuring every course is true and level. Throughout the day, you’ll coordinate with teammates and other trades to keep the job moving efficiently, maintain tools in top condition, and uphold rigorous safety practices. Every task is performed with a focus on craftsmanship, structural integrity, and site safety.Key Responsibilities

Build and repair brick and block structures, including walls and chimneys.

Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to confirm specifications and layout.

Mix mortar and related materials to required ratios and standards.

Deliver work that meets high benchmarks for quality and safety.

Collaborate with general contractors, supervisors, and other trades to meet timelines.

Inspect, clean, and maintain tools and equipment for reliable performance.

Follow all job-site safety procedures and regulations.What You Bring

Proven experience in bricklaying or a closely related masonry role.

Deep understanding of masonry methods, materials, and best practices.

Ability to read and apply information from blueprints and technical drawings.

Excellent physical stamina, balance, and strength for hands-on field work.

Sharp attention to detail with a commitment to first-rate workmanship.

Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
