Engineering Manager
iVueit LLC Hybrid (4 Days In-Office, 1 Day WFH) Westerville, OHiVueit is a crowdsourced property intelligence platform that enables businesses to collect real-world insights at scale. Our platform powers mobile, web, and backend systems used daily across the U.S. As we continue to scale, we are seeking an experienced, hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our Frontend, Backend, and Mobile engineering teams and help mature our engineering execution and operations.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 4 days per week in our Westerville, Ohio office and 1 day remote.
Role Overview
As an Engineering Manager at iVueit, you will be responsible for people leadership, technical execution, and delivery outcomes across multiple engineering teams. You will work closely with the Technical Architect, Product Management, Tech Leads, and Business stakeholders to design, build, and operate reliable, scalable systems. This role will also play a key part in establishing a production support model as the platform and team continue to grow.
What You'll Do
Engineering Leadership & Team Management
Lead and manage Frontend, Backend, and Mobile engineering teams
Coach, mentor, and manage performance to drive accountability and growth
Establish clear goals, expectations, and delivery standards
Support hiring, onboarding, and long-term team development
Promote engineering best practices and a strong culture of ownership and qualityTechnical Leadership & Execution
Remain hands-on through design reviews, code reviews, and technical problem-solving
Partner with the Technical Architect and Tech Leads on architecture and system design
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and production-ready
Guide teams through the full SDLC, from design through production and support
Product & Business Collaboration
Work closely with Product Management and Business teams to translate priorities into executable engineering plans
Drive predictable delivery of business-critical initiatives
Balance delivery speed, quality, and technical debtProduction Support & Operational Excellence
Help design and scale a production support function (on-call, incident response, escalation)
Improve system reliability, observability, and operational processes
Lead post-incident reviews and continuous improvement efforts

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing engineering teams (mandatory)
Strong technical background with the ability to stay hands-on
Experience leading frontend, backend, and mobile engineering teams
Proven track record of delivering production-grade systems
Strong collaboration skills with architects, product managers, and business stakeholders
Work Authorization Requirement (Mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications
Experience scaling engineering teams in a growth-stage or SaaS environment
