Nutley High School Robotics Build Team Advisors (2)

Position Type: High School Teaching/Technology Education Date Posted: 9/9/2025 Location: Nutley High School (HS) Additional Information: Show/Hide Robotics Build Team Advisors (2 positions) Reports to Superintendent, Principal, and/or Supervisor of Career & Technical Education.

* Experience with Technology, Stem and/or Science * Experience with Robotics preferred.

* Expereince and understanding of Robotics platforms (software). * Experience and understanding of Robotics build hardware.

Other Requirements: * Regular and consistent afterschool meetings with students.

* Attendance at afterschool and/or weekend competitions and meetings.

* Organizes and facilitates ordering of materials and supplies with the Supervisor of CTE.

* Maintains and inventories all necessary parts, components, etc.

for robots.

* Handles all necessary paperwork, included but not limited to field trip forms, schedling, registering Robotics Team for competition, etc.

* Keeps CTE space organized while using and after use.

* Work collaboratively with fellow advisor.

* Applicant must possess valid NJ Teaching Certificate or NJ Substitute Certificate.
