API Test Lead

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

8-10 years of API Testing Experience

API Testing on both SOAP and REST services

Experience in analyzing Performance Test Reports on API Calls and providing recommendations

Experience in developing/enhancing Automation Test Scripts using Selenium, Test NG frameworks

Experience in doing Release Management activities for API projects Roles & Responsibilities

Manual testing: Testing API endpoints by sending requests using various HTTP methods. Validating the API's response against expected outcomes and data accuracy. Validating non-functional aspects such as response time, other aspects of performance, Security, authentication. Experience in analyzing performance reports and collaborate with developers, users to improve service performance.

Automation test enhancements: Develop tools, frameworks and methodologies to ensure effective testing of APIs/apps. Maintain existing suite of automation /performance test scripts

Technical Skills: Must have a strong hands-on experience in testing CICD tools like Jenkins, load testing tools like JMeter or BlazeMeter and automation tools like Karate. Web Methods testing experience is preferred.

Release Management Oversee the software life cycle and ensure successful and smooth deployments
