Server – Royal Biryani House (Indian Cuisine)

Royal Biryani House, known for authentic Hyderabadi biryani and traditional Indian flavors, is seeking friendly, professional Servers to join our team. We are looking for individuals who genuinely enjoy hospitality, work well in a fast-paced dining environment, and take pride in delivering excellent guest experiences. Prior knowledge of Indian cuisine is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidates.

Position Overview

As a Server, you will represent the Royal Biryani House brand by providing attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient service. You will guide guests through the menu, communicate clearly with the kitchen, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a polished and welcoming dining atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly, provide menu guidance, and deliver high-quality, attentive service

Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system

Serve dishes promptly while ensuring accuracy, presentation standards, and guest satisfaction

Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, spice levels, and popular Indian dishes (training provided)

Assist with table maintenance, including clearing, resetting, and ensuring cleanliness

Address guest questions or concerns professionally and promptly

Support food running, beverage service, and overall dining room flow during busy periods

Collaborate with FOH and BOH teams to maintain smooth service operations

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service guidelines

Qualifications

Previous serving experience in a restaurant environment preferred

Strong communication and customer-service skills with a hospitality-focused mindset

Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Willingness to learn Indian cuisine, spice profiles, and menu details

Professional, dependable, and team-oriented

Strong attention to detail and ability to stay calm and organized during high-volume shifts

Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
