Required Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and extensive hands-on development experience
Required Skills:
• 10+ years of experience as a .NET Web Developer building applications using ASP.NET Core MVC
• 10+ years of experience developing with C#
• 10+ years of experience with SQL Server database design and development, including:
o Query optimization
o Tables, views, stored procedures, and functions
• 10+ years of experience developing applications using .NET Framework 4.0 or higher
• 10+ years of experience using Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later
• 10+ years of experience designing and implementing N-tier architectures
• 10+ years of experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), including:
o Developing and securing WCF services
• 10+ years of experience with Azure DevOps / TFS, including:
o Code repositories
o Code promotion strategies
o Recovery processes
• 5+ years of experience developing applications in an Agile/Scrum environment
• 5+ years of experience implementing AJAX-enabled controls in ASP.NET applications
• 5+ years of experience developing mobile-compliant web applications
• 5+ years of experience developing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and integrating them into MVC applications
• 5+ years of experience using Visual Studio, including Visual Studio 2019
• 5+ years of experience with Git, Azure DevOps Boards, and CI/CD pipelines
• 2+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs and web services using .NET Core and .NET 5
• 2+ years of experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) or implementing formal testing strategies
Project Overview:
Consultants will support the development and modernization of enterprise applications in a collaborative, agile environment. The work includes both new development and the modernization of legacy systems into modern .NET-based solutions. Applications will be designed using N-tier architecture standards and industry best practices, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability
Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to gather and refine application requirements
• Design, develop, test, and deploy .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, and related technologies
• Modernize and rewrite legacy applications into scalable .NET-based solutions
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and backend components
• Implement N-tier architectures in compliance with established coding standards
• Perform application testing, debugging, and performance optimization
• Create technical documentation, presentations, and demonstrations for stakeholders
• Support application deployments and provide post-deployment technical support
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Mentor and guide technical team members as needed
• Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability through best practices and peer reviews
