Motion Design & Animation Internship NY - Winter

What we are looking for:

Brand New School is seeking Motion Design Interns to join our team in NY and LA.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command over the principles of animation, able to keep an organized workflow and work in tandem with a larger team, and is passionate about the details that push animation to the next level.

Under the guidance of our team, the Motion Design Intern will gain invaluable real world experience and hone their skills as they contribute to a diverse slate of projects.

Responsibilities:

Animate new shots and revise existing ones as needed under the supervision of Animation and Creative Directors. Intern may work on assignments such as, animating content for social, branding systems, TV Commercials and experience design

Prepare animation files and client deliverables

Work collaboratively with Animation and Creative Directors to meet milestones within a project's established timeline

Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and critique with Creative Directors, Leads and peers Qualifications:

Must be able to communicate clearly, take constructive feedback and conduct oneself in a professional manner in the workplace

Proven experience with the following softwares: After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator. Knowledge of C4D is a bonus

Brand New School's Internship is full time, 40 hours a week and spans approximately 3 months. Studio hours are 10:00am - 7:00pm. If you are unable to commit to this work schedule, please hold off on applying.

We will only consider applicants who can follow our hybrid work schedule (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in office / Monday and Friday remote)

Must be authorized to work in the US Salary Range

$25/hr
