Associate Engineer

Job Summary The Engineer I is part of a unit designing excavation shoring projects, working under a Professional Engineer.

Ensures that engineering design, complies with the project objective and contractual requirements i.e.

project schedule, company standards, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities * Design excavation shoring plans.

* Provide advice and assistance to personnel on all matters about engineering.

* Solve customer needs with equipment rented and designed by NTS.

* Communicate with Sales on the best solution for the customer's needs.

* Plan, schedule, and provide work direction when required for preparation of designs, processes, and related data.

* Bring elements of a project together, makes certain that all elements proceed satisfactorily on schedule and initiates corrective action as required.

* Other responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills * Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

* Knowledge of statics and mechanics of materials * Analytical problem-solving and presentation skills * Communication - verbal and written.

Qualifications * A bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering * Associated classes: Statics, Steel Design, Concrete Design, Foundations, or Geotechnical Design Why work for NTS?
