Procurement Commodity Manager
The Procurement Commodity Manager will lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities for capital expenditures (Capex) and facilities-related projects, managing an annual spend of $50-100M. Reporting into Americas Indirect Procurement, this role is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and executing Capex initiatives across manufacturing sites in the Americas. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration to meet aggressive cost and timing targets in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional category teams to develop and maintain strategic sourcing plans for Capex and facilities-related procurement within the Americas region.
Own long-term planning and continuous improvement initiatives for assigned spend categories, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Develop and execute sourcing, negotiation, and contracting strategies that support category objectives and deliver measurable value.
Utilize spend analytics, market intelligence, and cost modeling to identify high-impact opportunities that drive cost savings, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation.
Establish and maintain Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) or Total Landed Cost models in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Deliver improvements in cost, cash flow, quality, and risk across assigned categories.
Collaborate with global Indirect Procurement colleagues in a matrixed environment to ensure alignment and leverage global synergies.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across manufacturing sites to support project execution and strategic value delivery.
Manage preferred supplier relationships with a "plan for every partner" approach to ensure performance, continuity, and competitive pricing.
Act as the category owner, partnering closely with value stream teams to enhance procurement performance and reduce friction for internal customers.
Qualifications:
At least 4 years of experience in a Procurement-related role, preferable in Category Management.
Bachelor's degree Industrial Engineering, International Business or related

Good technical knowledge of Procurement/Sourcing
Good influencing, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred, but not required:
Procurement related job in manufacturing company
Experience with procurement of manufacturing production equipment.
Preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish)
