The client has taken ownership of a music application originally built by a vendor and maintained over the last few years. The team is seeking two Senior Ruby on Rails Developers to drive new feature development and lead expansion efforts.
This is an exciting, high-visibility project with a long roadmap a 9-month slate of new features that must be delivered on time. The client is building a blended team model: two senior developers/tech leads onsite in the U.S. working closely with 34 developers in India. These senior developers will not only build, but also support and mentor the offshore team, ensuring feature delivery at pace and quality.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
Own feature development for a Ruby on Railsbased music application.
Work independently to design and implement new functionality under tight timelines.
Partner with offshore developers (India team of 34) and provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure code quality, maintainability, and on-time delivery.
Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes; work with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, etc.).
Balance speed and quality to meet a critical business deadline while maintaining long-term scalability.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
5+ years of expertise in Ruby on Rails, with proven experience building and shipping new features on complex applications.
Ability to work independently under tight deadlines while collaborating with and mentoring an offshore team.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL (or similar databases), JavaScript, and Kubernetes/CI/CD deployment workflows.
