Job Description

We are seeking a developer for the development of Hadoop MapReduce code for business needs. The team works on analytics around prospect data, including how new prospects can be reached with offers.

The client buys data from 3rd parties, joins it with internal data, and uses that to reach prospects through various channels (online, email, phone, mail).

Requirements

Expert programming competence in Java

Experience with Hadoop/HDFS/MapReduce

Experience with HBase/NoSQL or similar technology is a plus

Excellent problem solving and communication skills and thrives in a highly collaborative and dynamic work environment
