Overview
An exciting new opportunity for a full-time Systems Architect supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) at Laurel, MD.
NEC serves as the primary enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the NC3 Enterprise within the Department of War. As the lead NC3 Systems Engineering Enterprise Center, it applies current best practices and translates mission and operational requirements into effective technical specifications and solutions.
This is a full time opening onsite: Laurel, MD
Requirements
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Establish system information requirements for architecture.
Support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross functional requirements and interfaces.
Evaluate problems of workflows, organizations, and planning and develop appropriate corrective actions.
Develop architecture diagrams, system models, and technical documentation to support engineering and leadership understanding.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mission engineering, configuration management, etc.) to ensure cohesive solution delivery.

Qualifications
Minimum Experience
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have an active TS with ability to obtain SCI eligibility at time of application.
Education: BS or BA in engineering, computer science, or educational equivalent
Years of experience: 5+ years relevant experience
Establishing system information requirements
Designing architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support requirements
Providing for present and future cross functional requirements and interfaces
Evaluating problems of workflows, organization, and planning
Preferred Experience:
Certification: The Open Group Framework (TOGAF) certification or DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF) certification.

USD $130,000.00 - USD $156,500.00 /Yr.
