Linux System & Network Administrator About the Role

LabN is seeking a Linux System & Network Administrator to join our growing team in Washington, DC. In this role, you will work with both Linux systems and network technologies, supporting secure operations and infrastructure. This position offers the opportunity to grow your technical expertise in a collaborative team environment while contributing to meaningful projects.Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Linux systems

Provide network support and troubleshooting for on-site operations

Support configuration, monitoring, and optimization of systems and networks

Contribute to ongoing improvements in security, compliance, and performanceRequired Qualifications

Qualified in Linux system administration

Experienced with Linux network support

Ability and willingness to work full-time, on-site in Washington, DCDesired Skills & Experience

Familiarity with network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls)

Experience with network cryptographic technologies (INE, HAIPE, CSfC)

Understanding of protocols: OSPF, BGP, MPLS, routing, bridging

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration

Familiarity with Security+ or similar certifications

Experience with STIGs, compliance, and accreditation processes

Knowledge of SD-WANBenefits
