Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be expected to significantly drive additional growth within the companys Commercial Office, Retail, Land & Development portfolio and will require high energy and impeccable communication, public speaking, and presentation skills. This is a growth position requiring an immediate ability to work autonomously, reporting to the Director of Leasing & Sales.

Responsibilities

Work with Director of Leasing & Sales to formulate and implement strategic leasing and marketing plans for portfolio of office assets

Conduct and manage market analysis and competitive property surveys for portfolio

Identify, qualify, and contact prospective office lease tenants.

Schedule and conduct onsite professional sales presentations.

Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants that comply with property and corporate level strategy and objectives

Prepare financial analysis of proposed leases and of leasehold obligations, including comparisons to approved budgets

Collaborate with internal & legal counsel on the negotiation of lease contracts and lease amendments

Pursue and secure annually targeted square footage of leasing transactions

Complete required real estate specific education and certifications

Qualifications

WHAT ATTRIBUTES ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

1-3 or more years of commercial real estate experience in lease analysis, sales, and/or negotiation.

Strong negotiation skills and negotiating experience a must.

Ability to formulate and negotiate real estate leases/contracts

Ability to think strategically, formulate and implement action plans and see them through.

Goal oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently, prioritize, trouble shoot, manage time effectively and be a self-starter.

Knowledge of economics and financial analysis skills.

Knowledge of real estate leases and purchase and sale agreements is a plus.

Manage and Develop relationships with company decision makers, economic development leaders, and brokers alike
