Job Description

A hospital in Oman is hiring an experienced Endodontist to provide specialized dental care focused on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the dental pulp and periapical tissues. The candidate should be skilled in both routine and complex endodontic procedures and committed to high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat endodontic conditions, including root canal therapy and re-treatment cases.

Manage dental pain, infections, and endodontic emergencies.

Interpret dental X-rays and CBCT scans for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Use modern endodontic instruments and techniques in clinical practice.

Maintain proper patient records and follow infection control protocols.

Communicate treatment plans clearly to patients and provide post-procedure care advice.

Work collaboratively with general dentists and other specialists.

Requirements

BDS with MDS in Endodontics from a recognized institution.

At least 4 years of post-qualification experience as an Endodontist.

Valid license or eligibility for Oman Dental Licensing.

Good communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
