Job Description*:

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage & Automation Engineer with expertise in NetApp ONTAP, Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP (FSxN), and automation scripting.

The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize enterprise storage solutions while driving automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and compliance.

#Key Responsibilities:

• Storage Management & Administration

o Deploy, configure, and manage NetApp ONTAP and FSxN environments.

o Implement storage policies for performance, scalability, and compliance.

o Perform capacity planning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of storage systems.

• Automation & Scripting

o Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Ansible for storage provisioning, compliance checks, and reporting.

o Create reusable automation templates and workflows for operational tasks.

o Integrate storage automation with enterprise orchestration tools.

• Compliance & Governance

o Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., MiFID, DFSA) through automated governance.

o Implement WORM (Write Once Read Many) policies for immutable storage.

• Cloud & Hybrid Integration

o Manage FSxN integration with AWS services for backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.

o Optimize hybrid storage architectures for cost and performance.

• Performance Optimization

o Analyze storage performance metrics and implement tuning strategies.

o Automate health checks and alerting for proactive issue resolution.

#Required Skills:

• Strong experience with NetApp ONTAP and Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP (FSxN).

• Proficiency in Python scripting and automation frameworks (Ansible preferred).

• Hands-on experience with storage governance, compliance automation, and WORM configurations.

• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM) and hybrid cloud storage models.

• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies.

• Excellent troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
