A fast-growing SaaS company in the project management space is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join a senior-led, high-impact engineering team. This platform helps teams gain end-to-end visibility across complex projects-reducing friction, increasing efficiency, and empowering better decisions across the organization.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who loves solving hard technical problems, contributing to architectural decisions, and mentoring others on the team. You'll have the opportunity to shape the direction of a product that's actively evolving and scaling.

What You'll Be Working On

You'll collaborate with a small, experienced engineering team to build features and infrastructure that support a sophisticated project management platform. This includes backend services, frontend experiences, and architectural planning for long-term scale and maintainability.

What You'll Do

Build full stack features with a focus on performance, usability, and maintainability

Participate in system architecture and service design decisions

Collaborate in code reviews and technical design discussions

Take full ownership of services and projects, from concept through release

Mentor peers and help improve engineering practices across the team

Tech Stack

The platform is built with a modern, scalable tech stack including:

Frontend: React, TypeScript

Backend: Node.js, GraphQL

Databases: A combination of PostgreSQL and MongoDB Realm

Tooling: Apollo Client, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines

Experience with either PostgreSQL or MongoDB is welcome.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

4+ years of professional software development experience

3+ years building backend services (ideally with Node.js and GraphQL)

2+ years of experience making architectural or system design contributions

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Self-driven and comfortable working in fast-moving environments

Preferred Qualifications

6+ years as a full stack engineer in a SaaS or startup setting

Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and performance tuning

Experience working with large-scale systems and distributed architecture

Strong interest in mentoring and cross-team collaboration

Familiarity with Apollo Client or GraphQL schema design
