Job Description

Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an opportunity to support student learning and development within an elementary school setting. The role focuses on assisting teachers by providing instructional support, helping manage classroom activities, and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for young students.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist certified teachers with classroom instruction and individualized student support

Support students with special needs and those requiring additional academic assistance

Help implement lesson plans and educational activities designed by teachers

Monitor student behavior and promote a safe, respectful learning atmosphere

Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents as needed

Prepare instructional materials and support classroom organization

Desired Qualifications:

Prior experience working with elementary school students, preferably as a paraprofessional or teaching assistant

Familiarity with instructional strategies and classroom management techniques

Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and support individual learning needs

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude toward education
