About Our Client

My client is a growing CNC machine shop known for supplying high-precision parts to a diverse customer base. With significant growth on the horizon, they are looking for a talented Engineering/Operations Manager with hands-on machining experience to lead operations and drive the company to its next phase.

Job Description

Lead and manage the engineering team to ensure project deadlines and goals are met.

Lead a team of CNC Programmers/Machinists to ensure jobs are set up properly.

Oversee the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for engineering projects.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions.

Monitor performance metrics and ensure continuous improvement in engineering operations.

The Successful Applicant

Proven leadership abilities in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Strong technical knowledge surrounding CNC machining (3, 4, 5-axis milling/turning).

Strong knowledge of industrial/manufacturing processes and standards.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.

A degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.

What's on Offer

Base salary $120,000 - $145,000 depending on experience level.

3 weeks PTO + company holidays.
