Plastic Injection Molding Technician - 2nd Shift

Quanex is looking for a Process Technician- 2nd shift to join our team located in Thomasville, NC.

The Process Technician is a senior-level role responsible for setting up molds and configuring injection molding machines for optimal performance. This position is Monday- Thursday 2:00 pm - 12:00 am.

What Success Looks Like:

Sets up and operates assigned machines to ensure consistent compliance with production goals.

Install molds into injection molding machines according to production specifications.

Configure and fine-tune molding parameters to optimize machine performance and product quality.

Monitor production runs and proactively identify and resolve issues.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure components meet quality standards.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and leadership teams to address process-related concerns.

Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency.

Your Credentials:

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environment.

Experience with machine setup, operation and basic troubleshooting.

Knowledge of injection molding machines preferred but not required.

The hourly wage for this position is $21.00/hr plus $.50 shift differential.
