F&B Host/Hostess - Bonny Moon Beach Club

We are accepting applications for the following position:

FOOD & BEVERAGE HOST/HOSTESS

The Food & Beverage Host/Hostess will be the face of our restaurant and responsible for customers' arrival experience, actively managing the restaurant floor plan and seating allocations of all guests.

RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE:

Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter's name

Use visual cues to seat guests in either the bar or dining area depending on their preference

Inform guests of current promotions and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff

Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service

Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas

Tend to special guest needs and requests

Observant to guests' needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service (i.e. notice a drink refill is needed while seating another guest and ensuring the drink is refilled prior to getting back to the door)

Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages

Receive payments by validating credit charges and cash payments

Reconcile cash drawer by managing cash transactions

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a high-volume restaurant is essential as a Host/Hostess

Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in environment with time constraints

Ability to troubleshoot effectively

Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, performing work accurately and efficiently

Must maintain a professional image

Ability to lift up to 25lbs; sit, stand, walk for an extended period of time

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including outside of normal business hours (i.e. evenings, weekends and public holidays, as needed)

Be able to work inside and outside under various weather conditions

A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team

Hourly Rate Starting at: CI$6.56 per hour plus gratuities
